The town normally rises around a large university or there can be a number of smaller educational establishments, like colleges, for example. The university might present the largest employment assistance in the community. As a matter of reality, the population of students can outnumber the number of nearby citizens.
The economy of the city is generally closely connected with the university activity. Therefore, there are university shops, hospitals and libraries. Some cities can also have a university printing houses and enterprise incubators. The political, social and cultural life of the city is closely connected with the university’s activities.
